A Windows host and a Compose-for-TV receiver. Desktop Duplication capture, colour conversion and downscale on the GPU's video processor, hardware H.264 encode, and a receiver that decodes and renders it, proven end to end on a Fire TV Stick. The REX wire protocol is implemented in Rust, C# and Kotlin and held byte-identical by a committed cross-language vector corpus. A capability prober reports, per device pair, which modes are actually possible, and the UI never presents an unavailable mode as a working control.
What stands out
- GPU capture, convert, downscale and hardware encode on Windows
- Fire TV receiver in Compose for TV: remote-operable, overscan-safe
- One wire protocol in Rust, C# and Kotlin, checked by golden vectors
- Authenticated, read-only ADB identification honouring the TV's consent prompt
- Rolling releases; self-updating per-user installer with no .NET to install
